Relés
Starter relays not working ? Replace it.
If your scooter's starter does not spin when pressing the start button, it may be due to a faulty starter relay. A relay consists of a coil as an electronic magnet and two contacts. It switches the circuit to the starter during the starting process. They work with the on-board voltage of 12 V or 24 V and can create higher currents. Despite their good quality, relays can fail, sometimes, due to moisture impairing their functionality. Clean the contacts and check if it starts
►How to check the starter ?
Always hold the plus and minus poles to the corresponding terminals at the same time. You should hear a click when touched. If not, it is defective. But if the battery is low, check it as well.
