The cylinder head is an indispensable part of the cylinder kit. The cylinder head is the cover of the cylinder and closes off the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is the space between the top of the piston and the cylinder head. It is imperative to have the correct cylinder head. Find the cylinder head you need on this page.
Standard cylinder heads.
TNT, RMS and also Malossi supply standard cylinder heads for mopeds, motorbikes and scooters. The cylinder head diameters may differ. The cylinder head diameters available on this page vary from 38.2 to 75.5 millimeters. Make sure you choose the right cylinder head for your cylinder. With some cylinders, the original cylinder head must be retained. The cylinder head has a hole to mount the spark plug in and is secured by means of four cylinder studs that you can also find on our site on the cylinder pages.
Cylinder head for air or water cooled engine.
Scooter or moped engines can be water or air cooled. For example, the Yamaha BWs or Piaggio Typhoon are equipped with an AC or air-cooled motor. To avoid mistakes, it is then necessary for these models that you filter the page using the filter on the left by selecting air cooling. For vehicles like Gilera SMT or Aprilia RS 50 you will have to choose liquid cooled because they have an H2O engine. Cylinder heads for air-cooled engines have cooling ribs as opposed to cylinder heads for H2O engines.
